Volunteers are a lifeblood to this ministry. Dedicated volunteers come from churches in the central Iowa region.
Volunteers must go through the training program of the Iowa Department of Corrections.

There are Bible Studies, Counseling and Worship services at the Newton Correctional Facility, as well as Worship services at the Newton Release Center.
New Life in Prayer meets on Tuesday afternoons.
New Life in the Word meets on Thursday evenings.
